Dr Liu Thai Ker has decades of experience shaping urban landscapes and served as the Master Planner for Singapore's Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). Known as the "architect of modern Singapore," Dr Liu gave vision to projects that drove Singapore's urban transformation. Dr Liu’s work continues to span major cities around the world, guiding them towards building sustainable and liveable communities.

Irtiza currently serves as President for Low Carbon Solutions at ExxonMobil APAC. In this role, he is responsible for developing ExxonMobil's lower-emissions business portfolio in the region, with the objective of creating long-term shareholder value and supporting global emissions reductions efforts.

He has held a variety of management positions within ExxonMobil in different regions. He has previously worked in industrial healthcare and banking and holds an MBA and degree in engineering.

Akihiro Ondo leads Mitsubishi Power in the Asia Pacific as Managing Director and CEO, overseeing the company’s regional strategy and growth initiatives. With over a decade of experience in the energy sector, he is dedicated to advancing MHI’s mission of achieving a sustainable future, aligning closely with MHI’s “Mission Net Zero” goal by 2040.

Zharin Zhafrael, based in Singapore, is Shell’s General Manager for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) East. A Chartered Accountant by training, Zharin joined Shell in October 2003 where her 20-year career in Shell evolved on the foundation of diverse commercial roles across Upstream, Integrated Gas and Downstream businesses. Her experience includes LNG market development, commercial contract negotiations, governance in non-Shell operated ventures, and overseeing almost 1000 Shell retail stations nationwide, driving Shell’s commitment to sustainability and energy transition in the region.

Her journey in decarbonisation started in 2003 when she pursued registering Shell MDS plant in Bintulu for the Clean Development Mechanism project under the UNFCCC. Recently returned from sabbatical leave where she joined the social movement in advocating the reform of discriminatory laws and policies against women globally, Zharin is a strong advocate and believer in CCS to bridge addressing climate change concerns and sustaining energy security for all forms of society. She is committed to collaborating with stakeholders in the region to realise Net Zero Emissions by 2050 ambition.

Pak Ahmad is the former CEO of Pertamina Geothermal Energy PT and former Chairman and President Director of Schlumberger Group Indonesia, with over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is a seasoned executive in a range of energy transition topics. He also had a broad range of functional experience in strategic planning, business development and operational management.

Menno joined Woodside Energy in 2012 and during this time he has held a number of roles including Vice President New Energy APAC, Vice President New Energy Projects, Acting Vice President Development, Vice President Engineering, General Manager HSEQ and Subsea, and Pipelines Delivery Manager.

Prior to joining Woodside Energy, Menno has held various roles within the offshore industry including regional and global business development. Project management, operations and offshore installation roles.

Menno is originally from Haarlem, The Netherlands and is a graduate of the Technical University of Delft with a Master of Science in Offshore Technology.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, he is key in developing and executing financial strategies that align with corporate objectives to ensure sustained growth and profitability. He has deep expertise in financial planning, analysis and risk management, and is committed to driving innovation and excellence.
